Unclaimed / Abandoned Vehicles

A total of 900 abandoned vehicles have been disposed of in all police stations of Mira-Bhayander, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate. Under the 100-day action plan program of the Hon'ble Chief Minister, the amount of abandoned vehicles disposed of is Rs. 63,18,800/-. The government has deposited this amount.

At present, a total of 333 abandoned vehicles have been deposited with all the police stations, traffic branches and other branches of the Commissionerate in Mira-Bhayander, Vasai-Virar Police Commissionerate and their evaluation has been done by the Sub-Regional Transport Department. The process of disposal of abandoned vehicles as per the standard operating procedure is underway.

The list of abandoned vehicles is being published on the website of the Police Commissionerate. The registration number and chassis number of the abandoned vehicles are available on the official website of the Police Commissionerate.

If anyone wants to claim ownership of the following abandoned vehicles, that person should personally contact the relevant police station in the list to take possession of the vehicle along with the original documents of the concerned vehicles and complete the process to take possession of the vehicle. After that, it should be noted that the said vehicles will be declared abandoned and auctioned.
